The Freo
Taking its cues from Australian military apparel, the Turon is made from exquisite and equally hard-wearing French calf leather. Two levels of chrome speed hooks further the utilitarian feel, while the durable studded rubber sole and cork footbed is affixed via a Stitchdown construction – sealing out moisture and increasing comfort with each wear.
Built To Last
More than 100 steps go into making each boot. The Stitchdown construction method is difficult and time-consuming but the end-result is a boot that is extremely durable, water-resistent, and servicable - as almost all components are stitched together (as opposed to being glued) and can be replaced.
Built On Value
To give Australian men access to better made footwear, we work directly with the shoemaker. Many of the boots our partners make are sold upwards of $600. Our footwear is made to the same exacting standards in build and materials as other premium footwear brands’. But we keep our overheads much lower and do not take shortcuts on quality, which allows us to offer better made and better priced boots to Australian men than 99% of boots currently available here.
