More than 100 steps go into making each shoe. The Goodyear welt construction method is considered the gold standard in shoemaking: difficult and time-consuming to do, but resulting in an extremely durable shoe whose components are nearly all stitched together and connected via a leather welt. Virtually any component can be replaced over and over again and your shoes will remain out of landfill much, much longer than most of the mass-produced shoes found in Australia.
We work directly with respected shoemakers to offer affordable, well-made footwear. Many of the shoes our craftsmen produce are sold upwards of $600. We keep our overheads much lower than other premium brands but we maintain the same exacting standards in workmanship and materials. The lifetime value of our footwear on a cost-per-wear basis makes them arguably the best value shoes in Australia.
